Mobius Life wins “Best Institutional Platform – UK”  Corporate LiveWire Award

01 October 2015

Investment platform is also a finalist in the prestigious Aberdeen Platform Awards.

Mobius Life has been recognised as the “Best Institutional Platform – UK” by the judges of the Corporate LiveWire 2015 Global Fund Awards. Mobius Life was also nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Aberdeen Platform Awards hosted by TV newsreader Kate Silverton at the London Hilton on Park Lane in September 2015.

The Corporate LiveWire awards, sponsored by Barclay Hedge, are an international awards programme which “recognise and honour outstanding performance and continued excellence within the global financial services industry”.

The Aberdeen Platform Awards, now in their ninth year, are the leading event in the platform calendar and recognise the best platforms. Mobius Life was nominated as a finalist in the best institutional platform category in its first year of entering the awards. The judges said they were “delighted to see a new player, Mobius, coming into this market with a fascinating proposition and hope to hear more from them.”

Adrian Swales, Chief Executive Officer, Mobius Life, said: “These awards recognise the impact Mobius Life has had on the institutional investment platform market in our first year of operation as an independent platform provider. We are different because we are a life company focused on investment administration for institutional investors, rather than being part of a large financial services organisation with competing business strategies. This means we tailor our solutions to our clients’ needs and never offer a rigid one-size-fits all solution. These awards are a testament to the effort and commitment to our outstanding team of professionals.”

Mobius Life, reached £6bn assets under management and administration, just over one year after the company’s management led a successful MBO for the business. Assets grew rapidly from less than £2bn under management at the end of 2013 to over £6 billion today.
