I’m delighted to let you know that Mobius Life held its first online event for the investment management community on Thursday 29 April. Over 100 delegates from 63 investment managers and others joined to learn more about Mobius Life’s platform capabilities and to hear the perspectives of Tony Yu of Aegon Asset Management and Adam Gillespie of XPS Pensions Group.
We think this turn out is a massive vote of confidence in our approach and would like to thank all the attendees from taking time out of their busy days to join the event.
Adam Gillespie’s talk about a consultant’s experience of using the platform underlined the benefits of our approach. Pension schemes win because they receive highly efficient, effective investment administration.
Consultants win because they can concentrate on advice and strategy, rather than spend time on administration. And investment managers win because their funds can benefit from significant inflows of pooled capital which is efficient to manage.
Tony Yu’s presentation on working with Mobius to create the Aegon Active Beta Property Fund for UK DC pension schemes underscored the increasing sophistication of the platform. We are now manufacturing solutions for illiquids, and alternatives on the platform, increasing choice and flexibility for consultants and trustees.
We’re hoping we’ll be able to welcome our guests in person to our next event, but in the meantime thank you again to all those who took time out on Thursday to join the seminar.
